American Canoe Adventures, located in Mayo, FL, was launched to give the kayak and canoe enthusiast access to the beautiful Suwannee River and an opportunity to see and experience the beauty of nature at her finest. We love the river and felt compelled to share those times with you.  

We have made it easy, trips of any length, experienced or newbie, hours or days we do it all. The only requirement for you is to be here. Springs, birds, manatees, cliffs and white water it is all available and you get to pick.

Have fun and see some history! American Canoe Adventures 2 serves canoe and kayak enthusiasts in the central section of The Suwannee River from Dowling Park to Branford.   Several springs feed into the Suwannee River along this section.

You have got to try kayaking on the Suwannee River, I took a trip yesterday which was Sunday afternoon. I have never kayaked before it was so grand of a time. Me and my family went we seen so many things along our trip. There was a young deer that was on a island in the middle of the river I guess the little deer had swim to the island, I also found alot of rocks that looked like so arrowheads could be found in these rock beds along the river and it is so easy to get to the spring along the river banks. If you have never tried kakak you dont know what you are missing. You need to take this year and try something new I beleive you will have the time of your life. Thanks for a great time on the Suwannee River.
